Join us for a 6-class session of Raja Yoga.
Raja yoga is a classical style of yoga that incorporates physical movement with mindfulness and breathing techniques to prepare oneself for a deep meditation. Raja yoga also incorporates a study of yoga philosophy. Students will learn to put yoga philosophy into practice on the mat through movement and breathing, which prepares them to bring yoga into everyday life. Students will learn to be more free from daily causes of frustration and stress, more loving toward themselves and others, and more at peace in the present moment.
Amanda’s class combines postures, stretching, breathing & relaxation techniques to achieve a deep & fulfilling meditation. Students will gain an understanding of the chakra system, the energy body & how to grow into their true selves.
This class is offered through the Hunterdon County Adult & Continuing Education program.
