What makes this program different
There are so many herbal programs — why choose this one?
I’ve been teaching herbalism to adults for about 5 years now. In that time, I’ve come to understand that adults arrive at herbal education from many backgrounds & contexts. Delving into herbalism as an adult isn’t the same studying back when you were a full-time student.
This program is designed not just to give you a lot of herbal facts, but to engage you in learning so that you actually absorb & retain the information.
We will use games, silliness, flavors, and hands-on activities to explore these herbs. Herbs are luscious and sensory — herbal learning should be luscious and sensory, too.
This program is offered on a sliding scale:
Tier 1 - $675
Tier 2 - $775
Tier 3 - $975
Tier 4- $1199
You choose how much to pay. (There are guidelines in the FAQ if you need help).

FAQ
Will class be held in the garden?
Class will be held in my new (indoor) teaching space in Stockton, NJ. You’ll get the exact address once you register. I’m not able to have classes in my garden this year due to the farm transition, so we’ll take field trips to the forest instead :) These field trips will be weather-dependent.
WHY DO I NEED TO APPLY?
The group dynamic is important in a program like this, so I want to be sure that everyone who applies is a good fit. It’s a chance for me to get to know you a bit, and a chance for you to ask me questions about the program. Also, the parking situation is weird and I want to explain it to you before you arrive.
WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE ONE OF THE DAYS?
I’d prefer that folks register for the entire program, but if you want to sign up for specific dates reach out and we’ll make it happen. At this point, I can’t tell you what we’ll be doing on specific dates, so you’ll just have to be open to the adventure.
CAN I GET A REFUND?
Once the classes begin, your reservation is non-refundable. Your reservation ensures your spot in a limited program — once you make that commitment, it’s your job to keep it. Please think carefully before you commit.
IS THERE A MONTHLY PAYMENT OPTION?
Yep! There is a monthly payment option for each tier on the sliding scale.
How much should I pay?
That’s up to you. Paying in the middle is the sustainable level for the program.
Consider paying more if you own your own home, have investments, travel for recreation, have a high degree of earning power, or work part time by choice. Consider paying at the lower end if you have low household income, significant debt, are supporting children or family members, have medical expenses not covered by insurance, or have tuition or educational expenses.
DO I NEED TO BUY ANYTHING Else?
Nope! All the supplies are included. There will be suggested (not required) reading, and if you’d like to do the reading you’ll need to acquire the books on your own.
IS THERE A WORK-TRADE OPTION?
Yes! Click here to learn more & apply for work-trade. Spots are limited and are offered on a first come, first served basis.
I’m interested but I live far away. Can I do this online?
This program is only in-person. But I do offer many online programs. If you’re interested in learning with me online, reach out and we’ll find the program that’s the best fit for you.
I’m ready! How do I sign up?
First, schedule an interview. If the program seems like a good match for you, I’ll send you the registration link.
