Join us in the garden for a morning of herbal tincture making.
Tinctures, or liquid herbal extracts, are a pillar of plant medicine. This intro-level class will teach you all the basics of tincture making, including:
what a tincture is
how to dose and take tinctures
when to use alcohol, vinegar, or glycerine
how to make a tincture
You will harvest fresh herbs from the garden and make your very own tincture to take home!
Saturday, May 29th, 10:00-11:30am.
$40
Pre-registration is required.
CLASS LOCATION
These classes are held in the Apothecary Garden of Locust Light Farm. To get to the garden, wind your way all the way up to the top of the property, following signs for "The Farm Cooking School." Park in the lot beside the building and walk straight back to the garden at the back of the property.
We will be in our large, canvas glamping tent, rain or shine.
