The Apothecary Garden is open on Saturdays from mid-May through mid-September for Medicinal Pick-Your-Own. Stroll the garden, visit with the plants, and harvest fresh herbs to take home.
You’ll pay for the herbs by the ounce.
Note: if the weather is rainy or the garden is excessively muddy from previous rain, the garden will be closed. If the garden is closed, an announcement will be posted on our Instagram (@Locustlightfarm) and Facebook (Locust Light Farm) pages. If you’re unsure if the garden is open, send us an email.
TO get to the garden
Drive all the way to the top of the property, following signs for The Farm Cooking School. Park in the gravel lot beside the school building and walk straight back, past the high tunnel.
