*UPDATE* We will decide by mid July if Lammas events can be held in-person.
At Lammas, our Outward Spiral begins to slow as summer deepens toward harvest season.
Lammas (also called Lugnasadh) is one of the four great fire festivals of the Northern European tradition. The daylight has begun to wane, if yet imperceptibly, and our energy is on the precipice of spiraling inward. This is a time of gratitude for the abundant gifts of the earth. It is a time to reflect on our role in the world around us, our thread in the web of the ecosystem, our impact on our communities. We invite you to sit with us in Sacred Circle to honor this moment. Lammas is a time of gratitude, abundance, and reflection. Our evening will involve guided journeying, drumming and rattling, and mindful “feasting” on some of earth’s goodies. We will check in with the intentions we set earlier in the season and find the medicine that we need at this point in the year.
Saturday, August 1st
7:00-9:00pm
Registration for the Circle will open on Friday, May 22nd.
The Circle is a sacred space in which all are held with compassion.
The Circle will be led by Amanda Midkiff and Kat Pfieffer. Amanda and Kat have studied energy healing, reiki and shamanic work with a variety of teachers and greatly enjoy leading Circles together. They believe strongly in the power of the earth to bring healing and in the comfort and understanding found in honoring earth's cycles.
