THE ENERGY OF THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE BEGAN ITS INWARD SPIRAL AT THE AUTUMNAL EQUINOX. PLANT LIFE IS RETREATING UNDERGROUND, AND WE, TOO, ARE DRAWING INWARD, SLOWING, RETREATING, AND PREPARING FOR THE REFLECTION OF THE YEAR’S END. WINTER SOLSTICE MARKS THE STILL POINT AT THE CENTER OF THE INWARD SPIRAL, BEFORE OUR ENERGIES BEGIN THE IMPERCEPTIBLE SPIRAL OUTWARD, PLANTING NEW SEEDS OF INTENTION AND IDEAS.

We invite you to sit with us in Sacred Circle to honor this moment. Winter Solstice is a time of stillness, pause, deep inner reflection. It is a time to digest all that we’ve learned and experienced this past year, to decide what wisdom to assimilate and what to release. A time to set intentions for the coming year.

Our evening will involve guided journeying, drumming and rattling, as well as journalling and the setting of intentions for the new year.

The Circle is a sacred space in which all are held with compassion.

The Circle will be led by Amanda Midkiff and Kat Gyantar. Amanda and Kat have studied energy healing and shamanic journeying with a variety of teachers and greatly enjoy leading Circles together. They believe strongly in the power of the earth to bring healing and in the comfort and understanding found in honoring earth's cycles.
