Join us for our weekly herbal tour of the Apothecary Garden.
Perhaps you're new to herbalism and are looking to learn more. Perhaps you've been taking herbal remedies or making your own products for years. No matter where you're at in your herbal journey, there is one thing that will deepen your relationship to the plants: getting to know them as living beings.
So often, we buy our herbs already dried and cut and sifted, or in the form of a tincture, tea mix, or salve. This is wonderful, and useful, and necessary. But if our relationship with the plants ends there, we miss out on so much of what they have to teach us. This informal tour will give you a jumping-off point to dive deeper into a relationship with these incredible healing plants.
We'll meander through the garden and meet the herbs that are ready for harvest. We'll learn the proper ways to harvest these plants, how to dry and process them, and how the plants can foster your wellness.
Saturday mornings, 11:00-12:00, weather permitting
$10
*Beginning May 12th and continuing through October.*

The Apothecary Garden is located at the top of the property. Continue straight up the drive and wind all the way up the hill until you reach the gravel parking lot beside the market building. Park in the parking lot, and walk straight back behind the high tunnels. You will see the Apothecary Garden behind the high tunnels.
