Herbs for Kids

  • Locust Light Farm 67 Pleasant Valley Road Titusville, NJ, 08560 United States (map)
Herbs for Kids Children's Health

This is the sixth class in series “Practical Herbalism: Remedies and Techniques for Everyday Wellness.”

Because children’s health is as vast and complex as adults’, we are not going to attempt to cover the vast array of children’s health topics in this class. Instead, we will:

  • Explore the primary herbs that are used in formulations for children

  • Discuss a few child-specific health conditions and herbal options

  • Learn to adjust adult dosages for children

  • Discuss methods of making herbs yummy: ice pops, candies, honeys, and glycerites

  • Make an herbal glycerite to take home.

Note: This can be a fun class even if you aren’t caring for kids, because much of our discussion will be about making herbs yummy, as well as mild alternatives for common ailments.

Monday, November 12th, 7:00-9:00pm
