Ayurveda (pronounced “eye-your-vay-duh”) is the “Science of Life & Longevity”. Originating on the Indian sub-continent over 5,000 years ago, Ayurveda remains the oldest continuously practiced holistic healthcare system in the world. Considered the “Sister Science of Yoga”, Ayurveda integrates the Yogic practices of postures, breathing exercises & meditation with lifestyle, nutrition & herbal recommendations. As a holistic science, Ayurveda bases these recommendations on one’s unique individual constitution, called dosha, and not just symptomatically. Ayurveda first addresses one’s imbalance(s), and once balanced, gives recommendations to maintain balance according to one’s dosha. The practice of Ayurveda is beautiful as it supports one’s relationship with one’s self, food & daily life.

Lynn is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor & Herbalist, offering lifestyle, nutrition, and herbal guidance— in addition to yoga and movement therapies, meditation, Ayurvedic bodywork, and Reiki. Through her workshops, counseling, and writings, you will learn how to recognize which foods, herbs, and exercises are appropriate to find and maintain balance in your life.
