An introduction to fun herbal preparations

I believe that the best medicine is medicine you’ll actually take — and sometimes that means you need to make herbs fun! Or delicious ;)

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to make some of the most delightful herbal preparations, from luscious herbal lotion to complex mocktails. You’ll head home with lots of goodies in your bag and a new set of skills for making gifts, impressing your friends, or simply treating yourself.


You will learn how to make:

  • Herb-infused oil

  • Herbal Lotion

  • Lip Balm

  • Pills & Capsules

  • Herbal Truffles

  • Oxymels & Mocktails

  • Herbal Sugar Scrub


You will take home:

  • 2 oz. of herbal lotion

  • 1 tube of lip balm

  • about 10 herbal pills

  • about 10 capsules

  • An oxymel

  • Any truffles we don’t eat in class

  • 4 oz. herbal sugar scrub

The dates:

Choose the date that works best for you

  • Friday, February 23rd

  • Saturday, March 9th

  • Friday, April 19th

  • $155 or two payments of $79


Class size will be limited to 13 participants.

Is this ok for beginners?

Definitely! This will be a great introduction to medicine-making.

ARE THERE PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE?

Yes! You can pay in full ($155) or pay in 2 monthly payments of $79.


ARE THERE WORK-TRADE POSITIONS AVAILABLE?

Yep! There is a position available for cleanup help. The exchange for work-trade is $20/hr and traders do one hour of work per class. The positions are first-come first-served. If you’re interested in work-trade email Amanda at info @ locustlightfarm.com.


WHERE IS THE CLASS LOCATED?

Classes will be held in my classroom in Stockton, NJ. The exact address will be given to you once you register.


ACCESSIBILITY NOTE:

The classroom is in a third floor walkup apartment. We sit on chairs and work at tables.


SNACK NOTE:

I will be serving tea to keep you refreshed & focused. Please bring lunch and as many snacks as you need.
